Leadership on the State School Board is important in supporting and advancing the educational opportunities in Utah. I am the father of seven children who all attend(ed) public schools. I hold a BS in Business and an MBA from BYU. I have worked in the computer industry for 25 years, own a business, and am an active member of the school community, SCC, and PTSA. I believe in parent choice and local control of schools with appropriate support from the state board to provide the highest-quality Educators and Administrators, Safe Schools, Early Learning, and Personalized Learning. I support access to technology and training in real-world skills, including career-specific training. I believe in financial responsibility, and I support school choice.
